Our Chilhowie store was the first of our stores to open, way back in 1973 under the name Berry Builders and Supply. In fact, the store was the first full-scale building materials supplier in the area. In 1986, the store moved (literally) just across the tracks to Main Street, which is where you can find it today, under the name Berry Home Centers.

At Berry Home Centers Chilhowie, you can find the highest quality lumber, doors, windows, hardware, power tools, paints, trusses, cabinetry, tools and other building products. Plus, our friendly, knowledgeable staff can help you choose the right product for your project and source any special order product you need.

Whether you’re looking for dimensional lumber, treated lumber, OSB and hardwoods or other types of engineered lumber, our Chilhowie branch includes a fully stocked lumber yard and complete building packages for your project.

ROOF & FLOOR TRUSSES

Our lightweight, easy-to-install and sustainable roof trusses are strong and stable enough to support a roof without interior load-bearing walls or beams. Equally sustainable, our floor trusses also eliminate the need for load-bearing walls or posts.
